Alyssa became involved with the Samoyed breed in 1994 when she obtained her first Samoyed, Bailey (far left).  What started as a single dog home has grown into a small kennel with a very limited breeding program.  Aliyabel Samoyeds was formed in 1999 when Andromeda (far right) whelped her first litter.  Simba (inner left) was the only puppy in the litter and stayed with his family.  After waiting over five years to breed again, Andromeda had her second single puppy litter.  Nala (inner right) has also stayed with her family.

Alyssa is a member of the Samoyed Club of America, Sacarrappa Obedience Club and Northeast Stockdog Association.  She participates with her samoyeds in conformation and performance events, including obedience, agility, herding, sledding and weight pull.
